Hey everyone!
Sorry, this is going to be such a basic question!
My wife and I recently moved to Scotland. She brought 6 months of insulin/supplies with her as a precaution, but when she needs to get further prescriptions and check-ups, how do we go about that?
We registered at the GP 2 weeks ago, and they've told us they don't have any appointments for the next ~2 months (only same-day emergency appointments until further notice). When it comes time to get more insulin and/or check-in on her A1C's do we book a regular GP appointment and they do it in-house? Is it normal to also see an endocrinologist?
We're coming from a mix of New Zealand and US backgrounds, so we're still navigating through how the NHS system works and the best process to take.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Have a great day.
