I was just wondering if its ok to eat in small amounts...like spread on an oatmeal cracker for instance?

Love peanut butter, like you I like it on oat crackers and it goes well with a nice slice of wholemeal seeded toast:)

Excellent :D Always loved it on toast in my diabetes free days :p Noblehead, Can you recommend a good brand of bread...or even one that you use yourself?

At the moment I like the Hovis Wholemeal Seed Sensation bread, I got some last night whilst shopping in Morrisons and it was 2 loafs for £2.50p.

There's some bread that are lower in the glcemic index, Burgen Bread is one and any Rye/Pumpernickel breads are also low gi. It all depends on whether the bread spikes your bg levels, and of course your own taste as to which bread you enjoy.

Yep I love peanut butter, I have a teaspoonful with my lunch mix. Love it. Occasionally on one of those cheddar crackers, they're 1.8 g each x

Carrot sticks, a jar of peanut butter and a movie .... what more can you ask for. Well ice cream of course!

Tip 1 when open, keep in fridge
Tip 2 dip finger in everytime you make coffee!!

I love it, got a 1/2 empty 1kg tub of 100% peanut butter in fridge.. Yum!!

Never do crackers though...

Tip 3 though, do not use finger for blood testing after!
