What's the weather where you're at.

All white frost - very winter looking and weather .

Nice and cosy indoors - fed all the birds, squrrels, robins, pigeons .
Meal worms , nuts, coconut fat balls , bread , plus a bird bath of
lukewarm water too !

Layers and layers of cold white frost here this morning, with perfect blue skies. It looks lovely - through the window. ;)

My birds are all tucking in, suet pellets, fat balls, sunflower hearts, mealworms, and fresh water. Plus some raisins on the front lawn for the blackbirds. I can't put them out at the back as they are poisonous to dogs and my Lola would hoover them all up.

I just love wee squirrels, cute, fun to watch but greedy lol

We have 3 one really shy squirrel and 2 much bolder braver ones .

We have put out some monkey nuts in a bowl for them .
Watch them rummaging in the bowl choose their nut and sit
with them in their paws happily munching away on them .
Even saw one pass a nut to another !
Their cheeks full of nuts and a look of sheer sublime on their faces .
Chucking their empty shells all over the place - like messy kids .

They sit on our large stone bench under our silver birch trees .
Then they will get onto the bird bath and have a drink .

We also have 3 robins and 9 yep (nine) pigeons come 3 times daily .
Every day they are here 7- 8.30am, 1-1.30pm, 4-4.30pm
Quite amazing with the regularity of them too .

Plus a very territorial blackbird that marches around bossing
and scaring all and sundry off its property !
It sits on our fence - peering into our reading room .
Only a tiny blackbird but it certainly does rule the roost and gardens .

You're lucky to have 3 robins as they usually don't get on with each other. We usually have one robin but sadly not this year. Unfortunately they got caught by the cats but not any more as the cats stay in now as we have had some run over on the road in front of us as the traffic has increased.

Completely off topic, but territorial birds like robins have their own territories, which do not always coincide with our own boundary fences. One robin may have part of your garden and part of next door, whilst another has the other part. They seem to have a line drawn, which is invisible to us, but if one crosses that line there is often murder!.

Drizzling rain this morning .
All dry now with lots of sunshine :D
Its 'lovely' - but soon be dark again though :(

Northwest Lancs .

-10C here. I am currently sitting by the gas fire resisting the wal that both I and the dogs badly need.

Hot today and humid. Thank heavens we're heading for low 20s for a week. So much for the doomsayers

It's colder here this morning with some frost  predicting possible rain later :(

Have an awesome day :D

I have total territotial rights in my home and my garden :D

Best wishes Rockin' Robin :)

Grey skies and drizzle rainy here .
Damp and cold .

Day for staying in - keep central heating on :)

5C and heavy persistent rain. To sum it up awful, not a day for going out.

:p Bet you are LOL
cannot wait for bushman shirts (THICK and triple lined) warm heavy woolen jumpers, sheepskin overcoats, double thick merino socks, triple blankets, a good movie and some welcome winter dreams Anna :)

Takes me back to when I was a child :)
