Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a balanced attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a humanist.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a kind-hearted principled egalitarian with many strong convictions.

This concludes our analysis; we hope you found your results accurate, useful, and interesting.

Are you sure you're not junior Ethyl? He describes himself and his mates as cultural Marxists .or possibly more accurately a pretentious undergrads ;-)
How about politically informed with a social conscience coupled with strong moral convictions?:D

There's that , but then there's the carrying round a copy of Foucault and talking about post post modernism at all times. I apparently had few string convictions which surprised me as junior accuses me of being morally and socially blinkered at every turn. I guess I just don't care enough about certain issues.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a university professor. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a liberal.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate realistic egalitarian with several strong convictions.

This concludes our analysis; we hope you found your results accurate, useful, and interesting.

Aww bless! I think he sounds quite cool! God knows what mine will say about me in 10 years time! We never think our own parents are cool, do we? My father was always left wing but has become more right wing as he has grown older. He wasn't keen on Blair and I have strong suspicions that he voted for Cameron at the last election (unforgivable) Looking back, all my family has been left wing except for my grandmother who is right of Farrage (my grandfather was verging on communism so there must have been some interesting debates at times!) and my mother who isn't remotely interested in politics.

Junior shares a house with a moderate socialist( he converted him from Lib Dems) and a lad who is planning on being the next Tory prime minister. One of them has a Russian Pro-Putin girlfriend who semi- lives with him so I think everyone makes a concerted effort to talk about anything but politics. Next year if he gets his MA offer he is moving in with two Trots and two Marxists, all of whom have been arrested for activism so I will be popping Kalms all year and brushing up on my legal rights law.

Yeah well Blair was centre right.
In fact Ted Heath was further left than Blair.
Blair made his statement when the first thing he did when he got the keys to number ten was invite Thatcher round for tea and crumpets.
That was a kick in the teeth for many.

Is this place turning out to be a hot bed of lefties?

I'm quite happy with that, although I didn't think of myself as optimistic about humanity before. I generally think the planet and all other species would be better off without us. :p
