So it was a slow start but is beginning to pay off. Due to the chronic fatigue/asthma and another health issue I've found it really hard to walk much over the past few months so have had almost no exercise at all really for months. But now that the LCHF diet is making me feel a little better physically I'm going to start a daily walk regime. I was swimming twice a week until a few weeks ago before my op so I'm hoping to get back to that soon too and see how that kickstarts my weight loss. Might even jump on the treadmill while I'm there!
Well done you, I just can't get into the exercise bit and I know I do need to, somebody kick me
I actually had my 2 sausage, 2 egg, beans and tomato brunch (I'm getting bored with it now but it keeps me going almost all day long) and afterwards I DID NOT FEEL TIRED.
So I waited an hour and then I went shopping, walked all round the shopping centre, back and forward to the car, in and out of several shops and finally went to the supermarket. I could NEVER HAVE DONE THAT a few weeks ago, I'd have been hungry and dragging myself around the shops if I'd gone there at all. I noticed I could even carry a couple of bags of shopping, nothing too heavy but still I couldn't do that before, I would just feel like folding up and lying down and going to sleep on the floor.
I still wasn't hungry when I got home so I pottered round and cleaned my kitchen! OMG I'm amazed at myself today. After that I made my tea and whereas I would normally be shaking and panicking and picking at food as I cooked, I was like those chefs on the telly who can cook a meal without salivating and eating half of it before it gets to the cooker!!! I can actually WAIT until it's cooked and then savour it. I'm also getting fuller quicker and noticing the signals earlier which before I was on Metformin and LCHF I just did not get. I would continue eating until I was stuffed and would feel FULL but STILL HUNGRY.
So something is changing. And I've put some exercise in today. So tomorrow my bedroom is going to get a good going over.
