I read an article recently, written by an American doctor, saying that a wheat free diet can reverse the effects of diabetes. Has anyone tried this and, if so, how successful was it? I an type 2, following a kidney transplant. Haven't had much advice at all on diet, etc. Willing to try anything. At the moment my blood sugar doesn't seem to have much of a pattern. I can have a fairly low reading after pigging out and a high reading after a day of walking and just a salad. Any advice welcome.
