People who interrupt you when you're talking and people who won't listen.
I've had a serious case of brain fog for ages and I've been told that it's likely related to my blood glucose being too high. I've been on the LCHF diet for a couple of weeks and my blood glucose in now in an acceptable range (most readings normal, although waking one typically around 6). I'm exercising - 5 hours a week of swimming. I'm just curious, those who had brain fog, how long did it take for it to go? It's so long since I remember thinking clearly that I can't even remember what it feels like! Maybe it's just me? LOL

I think mine started to lift after a couple of weeks but I guess it must vary a bit with the individual.

I'm 7 weeks diagnosed.......certainly after 2-3 weeks I suddenly felt alive instead of a black fog everyday!! Considering I had no idea I was type 2 it explains why I now feel so different !!

That's reassuring, so any day now then LOL

Thanks x

I'm 39 @Bluetit1802 but I'm beginning to wonder if it's a permanent feature already LOL

I get brain fog anytime I put my hand in my pocket.

Just checking - are you on statins?
They gave me very serious brain fog until I stopped taking them.

No, and I don't intend going on them either, especially not since my lipids were ok anyway. Off to see GP tomorrow though about my slightly high BP...not sure if that's anything to do with it...probably more likely to be the BG..

I now have a saying 'if you go into a room and remember what you went in for you're doing fine!'
