Hi
I am T2, recently diagnosed and currently just using low carb diet & exercise to control.
I've spent the last 4 weeks measuring my fasting and 2Hr Postprandial and things have been going down nicely and are now (mostly) steady. I though it would be useful to start looking at 1Hr Postprandial and suddenly things look less rosy. At the advice of this board I also started to measure my BS before I start my main meal as a baseline.
I understand it is best to keep spikes to a minimum so my question is what increase in BS levels after 1Hr are bad, average, good. My 2Hr numbers are now good and are a little over my baseline (pre-meal) level. Would be good to get some real-life numbers rather than scientific recommendations (which are welcome as well).
Many thanks
