When the Patient is Noncompliant.

An article worth reading.

"A 63 year old man with hypertension, elevated cholesterol and diabetes", the intern recited as he presented his case to me in clinic. He read the list of 7 medications the patient was prescribed. "But he is noncompliant" the intern added.

The patient would have to attend to 3,000 behaviours yearly.

Worth reading the experiment carried out with a group of medical students to see if they were able to comply.
 
Just goes to show that most of us think the same.
Treat the problem most important to us first, then worry about the other problems later.... :lol:
 
It makes a low carb diet look like an easy choice. Most of those conditions would improve, and most of the drugs could be avoided.
