Hi @jayney27 everyone is different what spikes one person is ok for others just test before and after you've tried it,depending on what I have on my plate black pudding has on occasions raised my BG I try and compromise by lowering carbs on my plate, so if I have black pudding and my BG test before was higher than I like I either miss out the toast and have black pudding or other way round. It's how you find your own body works we are all different! K Test test test that's the best advice I can give you! K

Thanks, I will test before and after to see what happens.

Aldi Skyr is very low carb, as are Alpro soya protein yogurt, and the Alpro one with coconut. I eat those, and Fage, and the Aldi Brooklea Greek yogurt.

I can't eat too much dairy so am also a fan of the alpro plain yogurts - I love the almond one. Although there is a small amount of added sugar they are still low carb and I don't find they spike me.

Thank you for the suggestions, like the idea of the coconut one

Available fast foods in Supermarkets
I have tried as much of the mainstream supermarket yogurts, going from low fat, to Alpro and now full fat Greek yogurts, as I am not scared of fat anymore. I like thick and creamy, so my favourites are::

It's fun trying the various brands.

I've eated the Fage Total full fat Greek yoghurt for donkeys years, and since well before I was diagnosed as diabetic. I like it and see no real reason to change. But it's now usually with berries or rhubarb as my sweet with my evening meal or as a "sauce" in cooking.

However, as long as you avoid the low /reduced/no fat versions or those with fruit/sugar already added them I think the choice is yours, but (a) check all carb content and the list of ingredients for additions in the form of starchy fillers, etc , then (b) test to see how you react to that brand.
