Skin Bleached?

Skin lightened?
Black lady??
Frock?

Are you sure you're replying to the correct thread dear folks?

O' and btw, who's Sarah Palin?
Michael Palin's long lost sister, mayhap?

btw 1
And just to keep you updated, I've two PC's in front of me
and they're still giving me hassle. I've nicked me better half's
laptop while she's at the Gin again. You should see her lying
on the floor beside me, obligatory headscarf sitting at a crazy
angle on her bleached pink hair and displaying her curlers. Fag as usual
hanging out the corner of her mouth, one foot resting up on my desk.
The other foot, well thigh actually, firmly lying on top of her near empty
Gin bottle. What a sight, specially with those enormous bloomers in full
view. To think she was once gorgeous.

btw 2
I just have to get these PC's sorted out this weekend or the stress
of it all is going to have me popping my clogs for sure.

You can tell I'm just playing for time here, can't you.

Back soon,
willie.

Sarah Palin was very nearly the Vice President of the place across the pond which is a bit of a worry.

Izzzi says I can't tell the difference between Michael Jackson and Pamela Anderson but I thought that their spare parts were interchangeable so I may be forgiven.

Zola can't tell the difference between me and Thundercat so it must be since we have the same dress sense.

Actually I don't have any dress sense. I dress in the slob mode. I have been known to wash clothing but guests use my washing machine more than I do. ......and the bloody drier. Haven't they heard of clothes lines?

Providing you are enjoying it. What else matters.

WeeWillie -

You are making me  away here .
Given the description you have described .

I have a blonde haired Marina [last of summer wine] teetering about all dizzy
crossed with a Hilda Ogden [corrie st ]smoking in her headscarf and rollers
plus a Nora Batty [last of summer wine] in her bloomers and wrinkled stockings
pictured in my mind 'now' ...

Are you a little 'Compo' or a Stanley or a Harold ? Willie

Anna .

Talking about teetering about Anna, you want to see me better half after she's been at the Gin.
Teetering about in the high street with those enormous high heel shoes she likes to wear,
like those young models on the catwalk. She's an embarrassment, legs wide apart, those fluffy
bloomers down to her knees, and yes, wrinkly stockings, or at least one of them, down at her ankles.
Body from the waist up at a forward 45 degree angle, legs bent at the knees, legs still wide
apart and trying to keep up with top half of her teetering body.

What sin must I have committed to deserve that. :D :D

Mind you, she's not a bad cook.

What do I look like? remember the wee baldy man in the Benny Hill shows!!!!!!!
You know the one I mean...slap head.

GetUnconscious, it's not a terrible thing to say.
I wouldn't quite have put it quite like that myself, but I know what you mean. :D

OK then, Sarah Palin she be.

Well done everyone, specially Thundercat for guessing correctly first.

The award will soon be back on display.

Meantime.....

An innocent looking little boy who eventually
became rather liberal in his thinking and claims
not to have any racists thoughts in his mind.

Haven't a clue...Again.

Oh RATS.......

Well done everyone.

Good for you Thundercat.
But you're now barred from reading the clues. :D

lukkymik, one is advised that in future, in order to have
one's moniker included in the winners list, one must positively state
who the person is, rather than "could only be" blah blah blah.
However, as this is one's first attempt at naming the name, the
management sent an internal memo to the deepest recesses of the
basement lower floor high command office, stating.......
"A little compassion is in order in this instance."
So here you is, lukkymik.

lukkymik.
zolabud.

btw, where's izzi? he's usually in here pretty sharpish of a morning.

You got your medals back Willie !!

Great.

Come on... Another please.

Love Zola.

Willie,
I have been to Bristol then Eastboure for a few days to see family etc; I could not get on with my phone with all those funny finger touch things.
It is also so difficult using reading specs and both hands, which are required to use internet on the phone while driving, not to mention eating and drinking all at the same time. (DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME AS EXHAUST FUMES ARE NOT HEALTHY)

Aaawe, look at the wee choochie face wearing his child's army uniform.

Special "btw", Thundercat of course, :D will skip the next bit...........

His dad who, along with his mum, were hard working but *illiterate.
(*no great shame in those bygone days, of course)

The young lad enjoyed only one year of school tuition but went on to
become influential and famous.
Later, a sculpture/monument was commissioned to honour his life.

Who he be then, dear fellow members?

nb.
The fact he's wearing a child's US army uniform, does
not necessarily, or automatically dictate he's American.

Where are Thundercat and Zola when you need them.
LOL

A slightly better match with the clues would be Abraham Lincoln but his mother educated him so she could read. His father couldn't though. The monument was what made me think of him.

I am now sure it is Lincon, it was a early thought but the uniform gives a better clue.
Thanks, Squire Fulwood I can now water the flowers.
