Who are they?

Dear Wee Willie,
This is not adding up, I believe Squire Fulwood is right as far as American Photos are concerned.
Can you honestly confirm the photo is Abraham Lincoln.
My lawyers have shown us a copy of this:
The Library of Congress >> Exhibitions
Unidentified photographer
Tad Lincoln, son of President Abraham Lincoln, in a Union uniform,
early 1860s

Sorry for being a stickler, but we have spent a lot cash flying to America for information and Barack is not to sure either.

Roy. :)

You know the rules.

The referee is always right and anyway I got a medal.

I still think it's Tad even if an enquiry finds otherwise.

There does appear to be confusion between Abraham and Ted.
Probably due to them looking fairly similar.

OK then, I can't find the link to Abraham's original image, so I completed
a treble search which shows Abraham as in the smaller (and larger) image.....

And this image as being Ted......

Hope that helps, izzi.

Squire Fulwood, I understand your sentiments regarding rules, thank you.

However, I feel it only fair that everyone should be free to question any doubt
they may have in their mind.

I'm sure everyone looks upon the thread as being a bit of light relief with the
added bonus of the humour that flies about in some of the replies. (which I love)
So thank you again for being on the ball, and I assure you this is not in any manner,
a "put down" aimed towards your goodself.

willie.

Thank you Willie,
Abraham Lincoln was very interesting and I learned so much just from that thread, even got carried away.
Squire Fulwood's wisdom and fair play soon brought me back to normality.

This thread is one of greatest topics since sliced bread.

Roy. :)

I will second that Izzzi...

I have an addictive nature and as I have had to give up so many pleasureable pastimes over the years this fine thread fills a rather large void.

So I take it my guess of Brigette was wrong then?

I love love love this thread. I love the mental torture of trying to figure out who it is (masochist - maybe:smile: ), the eureka moment when you get it, the second guessing when you're not sure, the wonderful fun everyone has. It's always the first thread I go to. Always lifts my spirits. It's very difficult to fit in time for stress and worry when I'm obsessing over the latest face:smile: Willie you are an angel in human form:smile: (well, I presume you have human form. Having never seen you, you might very well be sitting at your computer with great big massive wings:grin:

Can I just thank everyone on this thread for making ot what it is

Much love to all

The pharmacist approached the customer who'd just lit a cigar.
"Excuse me," he said, "but you can't smoke in here."
The irate customer puffed a stream of smoke from the side of
his mouth. "Like h**ll I can't!! I just bought the **** thing in here!"

"Big deal," replied the pharmacist. "We sell condoms in here too.

Have fun. :D

Harrison Ford.

(Scrap that. His nose isn't right...)

It is more difficult with women as plastic surgery changes noses....

Looks a bit like George Bush, but I have had my fair share of Presidents and sons.

I have just found 6 famous people that smoke cigars and George bush is on that list,so is my hero Winston Churchill.

Hang on... Is that a clue Willie...The cigar.

Right...Someone from Cuba maybe ??

Got it !!

Fidel Castro.

I will wait 'til I am declared right before I shout NEXT !!!!!!!!!!

Just checked his images and his nose is a giveaway....

The things you learn eh...

I'm pretty sure I am right but will wait for Willie to give me a yay or nay. And hopefully I will get another medal...

WILLIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done Zola if correct,
He was just below George Bush on that list I looked at and I did not twig Cuba.
