just wanted to add Ozzy Osbourne is my Idol, if i could live anyone elses life it would be his because its his carefree attitude to life and the way he lived it, it fascinates me how the man is still allive to tell the stories pmsl

Ozzy has certainly had a crazy life and it does make you wonder how he is alive today! :? I don't really have any idols and quite happy with the life I lead.

Black Sabbeth are reuniting next year, so you could see them live :)

NOT an idol - I worship & serve the Lord Jesus Christ but I campaign on behalf of Paul Robeson (1898-1976) who gave up stardom on film & stage, & as a concert singer to stand up for the rights of the black Americans & the common people of the world.

The American establishment (McCarthy & co) took away his passport & sought to silence him.

Yesterday I gave a presentation about him at the local parish church.

Anyone who gives a bit back really! Not just down for feathering their own nest. Some of these high profile stars are in such a privileged position to highlight certain terrible issues that happen world wide, but worry it could alienate that Demographic of the potential "market", and it's all about personnel wealth...and they don't really care about anything else but their Huge bank balance.

Bill Gates is not a bad lad  I like him, 28 billion he has given away. Philanthropy must feel good when he lays his head down at night.

I admire Nell Mc Andrew, not only is she a babe, but she works tirelessly for charity. I watched a documentary a long while back where she highlighted a terrible condition called Epidermolysis bullosa, these people really do suffer in life ,and there is no cure.
She works tirelessly for these people and really at the grass roots level, they know and love her.
To be honest she is a hero to me using her looks and profile to raise awareness, not just for fame and money, but she is a lovely lass too, it just shines through with her.
.The people who suffer with this condition and their strength ,resolve and humor ,made them the most interesting and characterful people....So ,people like them are my real hero's. Let alone the ordinary folk who are out their doing their bit to do wonderful things  :D You don't have to be famous in my book to be a hero, loads of em just walking about getting on with things.

Surgeon's who give their time and skill to go to poor countries to help children with congenital facial deformities for free, and the children in this country who they help.......they are all my hero's,

I'm sorry but not someone who pumps themselves full of drugs or booze ,or is good at kicking a bag of air around a field, or can warble out a tune, it's all smoke and mirrors...Though I'll let Beckham off cos he's a right stud Muffin  And he does do his bit as well.

I have a ot of respect for a largely unknown singer Davey MacManus, previous group the Crocketts supported the Steroephonics at Marfa stadium. Anyway the bloke has 2 rock climbing routes named after him in Ireland, has 2 books of poetry published, gave current group (The Crimea) album away free on internet long before Radiohead ever thought of it.

He always puts on a good performance, and while overpaid "stars" were asking for my money while promoting their new single on children in need, Davey has now trained as a nurse and been over there doing voluntary work actually making a difference - he wrote about it on his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/#!/daveymacmanus I defy you to read of his experiences over there and not be moved. The man is a talent and a do-er!

P.S. He also had a tooth missing, I think he had it fixed as it was offputting to patients
