Can anyone recommend a great tasting wholemeal bread. I'm more of a white loaf fan. I've been told Alisons loaf is great. Any other ideas woukd be great? Thanks in advance.

We buy Lidl's Wholemeal Seeded bread, it's very nice.

I like Warburton's wholemeal bread (37.8g of carbs per 100g), Hovis Wheatgerm (38.6g per 100g) and Sainsburys thick wholemeal (36.7g per 100g). They are only 1-2g of carbs more than the Burgen Soya & Linseed, and I prefer the taste and texture.

We're buying more and more stuff at Lidle and ALDI. Quality is up prices are way down. A jar of virgin coconut oil around the six quid mark in Tesco is around half that price in Aldi ... or is it Lidle? Always get them mixed up.

The dietitian told me to eat oatmeal bread rather than whole meal, if I can't get oatmeal bread then a good quality granary bread. If I have to buy whole meal bread I like Allison

Sorry to butt in but the virgin coconut oil is three quid in both shops but the Lidle one is twice the size!

Absolutely...Tescp Spelt Spave. The only bread I have tried in 3 months that does not spike my BG and tastes terrific:)
