Whose Having What For Dinner? Answers Below :)

I had minced beef cooked in the pan with chopped up celery and tomato in it. Had broccoli by the side. Looked lovely and colorful, but since going on to the Atkins Induction Phase on Saturday Metformin has started it's dirty tricks again and I feel pukey... so I couldn't eat much of it.
Thinking of making up some jelly and double cream for later, and saving some for breakfast tomorrow because I can't face the thought of meat or eggs tomorrow morning.

Turkey curry (defrosted from my Xmas batch), and sweet potato and chickpea pakora.

i had a brown pitta bread with mint yogurt and sheek kebab home made in it with onion salad

We had chicken;

I went out to the shop, saw it, weighed it, bought it, brought it home, plucked it, stuffed it, all she had to do was kill it and cook it..

At 7 pm the chicken was walking naked round the house, it said to me " look Q, either put me in the oven or give me my fricken feathers back I'm freezing"

As Diana Ross said " And I'm still waiting"

I'm starving hungry we're supposed to be having chips with it cooked in the Tefal spaceship thingy, wait on..

Q..

Not surprised the KIDS looked shocked if you were eating a member of their family.

Belly laughed at your post!

I finally had the thai red curried turkey I could not face eating yesterday, cooked with zero carb noodles, coconut milk, shredded kale, asparagus, chopped shallots and spring onion greens. Total carb intake for the day 22g.

Busy day, so a fast dinner today.

My "3 tin challenge"

Take 3 tins out of the front of the cupboard at random, and make a meal.

So,
Hungarian goulash
Haricot beans
Tin of spinach.

Mushrooms from the fridge needed eating, so sliced, then boiled in a beef stock cube,
add the 3 tins,
and a tin of black eyed beans as my wife needs feeding.

It does actually taste a lot better than it sounds, and even the goulash has a reasonable list of ingredients.

(Bit too beany for my wife, she loves her spuds in things like this)

Tonight's tea was a chicken breast with Birds Eye rice fusions Mediterranean. Not a lot and now I'm starving!

Chicken with peanut sauce and I can have a wee bit of Basmati with it, does my BG's no harm. I make my own peanut butter with no sugar, it doesn't taste much like the commercial stuff but at least it IS crunchy and the resulting peanut sauce is just divine! Probably my fav meal except for salmon done in foil with lemon, butter and olive oil and a wee bit of rice :)
