I am with you on the need to keep blood glucose at an even level, but even AND low.8.4 might be a snapshot, but anything above 6.1 is already doing damage to micro blood vessels. thus at 8.4, the person has all the time of the climb up and down either side as well as the snapshot, in the danger zone.
Non-diabetic levels are achievable for most people. It takes determination. Just check out how many on this forum are sitting on that 5% club sofa. ( that's Hba1cs of below 6%) They include T1s and T2s.
