Why ho why!

Having read this thread all I can say is that I have been very lucky with my medical professionals and I really like my current GP, who discusses my care with me. I'm more knowledgeable about my body and its diabetes, but she's more knowledgeable about the other stuff. I both respect and trust her.
We used to have a wonderful GP who listened to what people said, and was willing to say, "I don't know". I can work with that. BS I can't.

Our old practise is now down to 2 GPs, with various ancillary staff, including a couple of ANPs, for 10.6k patients. That can never work, even ignoring other personality issues/clashes.

Of course, time will tell if we have leapt frying pan to fire, but at least with more medics to a similar patient population, there's surely someone to identify with and respect (both ways).

Fingers crossed emoji a gazillion times. :)
