Why is my HCL no longer working?

Hi, after using Omnipod 5 with freestyle libre 2 plus for nearly 3 months and having fairly good control (time in target >80%) things have suddenly started changing!

1. My bg’s are going low overnight and I need glucose tablets to correct.
2. When I wake up in the morning with normal bg before eating any carbs my bg starts rising quickly.

My time in target is now less than 70%.
I dont know why this is happening or what to do about it. Its so frustrating! I have been feeling really fit and well since going on to the HCL, I have lost some weight and gained some muscle tone.
I called my Diabetes team and left message with secretary but no one has called me back(10 days ago). Has anyone any ideas?

That could well mean that you have become more sensitive to insulin and your needs and ratios have changed. I'm not familiar with the omnipod so I don't know what settings are set by the user and which are set by the HCL but would suggest that you repeatedly call and email your team back. This is exactly the sort of thing that they should be helping you with. Failing that, is there an omnipod rep you could call for advice?

My time in range was 84% before going on omnipod 5. 6months later it is now 14%. Hba1c has risen from 50 to 64. 200u of novorapid in the pump may last 36hrs. Previously I was taking a combined 84u daily of humilin I and humilin s.
Got to the point I am adding 16u of humilin I alongside the pump and still struggling. Have previous history of resistance to analog insulins, so will be speaking with endocrinologist and getting myself removed from the omnipod. Stress of management is not worth the hassle.
