You should only see the advertising if you're accidentally logged out, should be back to normal if you log back in.I pop in several times a day to see new postings. Now the current page that opens is so full of other things that the only way that I could find a way to post this comment was to open one of my previous messages. I understand that advertisement revenue is important to you but when it goes to this extent, it makes the whole Diabetes.co.uk too frustrating to use.
I keep logged in and it always takes me straight to the forum, no adverts etc. like @Antje77 says you should only be getting the adverts if you are logging in and out between visits.I pop in several times a day to see new postings. I use the browser on MacBook Pro.Are you using the app or a browser @Lupf , @ElenaP , @filly , @Fenn ?
I use the browser and nothing seems to have changed.
If you get this issue on either app or browser, and if the issue hasn't been solved by logging back in, it may need to be looked at by @Administrator or @Carson_DCUK
I didn't, and to be honest, I don't even know how to do this.@ANTJE - I use a Browser. They changed the landing page.
Have you restarted your browser and cleared the cache?
We're not even better informed.Well you have more buttons than me @Lupf - if I go to the home page I have to scroll down to join your community, pick one of the forums and then click on forums at the top left to get to the forum “homepage” proof that us mods are no wiser or different to any other member on the forum
Interesting! My red strip does not show News, Shop or Forum between 'Tools' and 'Follow'.I know admin's are not responsible for the home page, but can you please forward.
Now the home page looks like this on my browser.
It basically "screams" at you to "Join the community",
and doesn't indicate (at the top right) that if you have registered to the forum, you have already joined.
In this case clicking on the red button (if you are logged in) does nothing - as it should should, you've already joined.
by clicking on "Forum" on top right you get to the forum pages as usual,
where your user name appears on the top right if you are logged in.
I can see why this is confusing people.
