Wil correction stop highs

Hi @Sonnyb2 can you let us know more ? So are these regular highs after a pump change ? Which pump/set are you on ? :)

I will tag @himtoo as I believe he also has issues on his set change days too, however in answer to your query, you need to correct for highs, what sort of readings are you getting ?

Omnipod and all the time for about 6hrs
hi there @Sonnyb2
when I do a pod change I often find my BG's rise a bit and i struggle to reduce them.
my usual BG at set change is in the 5's ( and I change between 8am - 9am most changes )

but without eating I often see a rise over the next 2-3 hours of 2.0 - 3.0 mmol
I put a temporary basal rate of +20% for an hour or an hour and a half and this normally gets me back to 5's

hope this helps

How many carbs are in this
weigh it and use a chocolate carbs per 100g calculation

I would use approx 57 carbs per 100 grams weight
