No, it isn't.... It falls into the Prediabetic range in all countries. Above 7.0 is considered a diagnosis. However 6.7 for fbs is considered as diabetes.

No I don't think he is going to see the doctor.I even told him and he was like it's not anything serious.what do I do?6.7 is prediabetes.
Perhaps the doctor is just going to monitor your dad for the meanwhile? is your dad concerned about his diagnosis? Does he have a follow up appointment?
As he's recently had surgery, maybe that's something the doctor is bearing in mind too.

I'm too shy but I may try.I'm very happy about meeting such supportive and nice people here. You could ask him what the doctor said about that result - eg did the doctor say it was the stress of his recent operation? Did the doctor say it was connected with his medication?
Although 6.7 is in the prediabetic range for fasting blood sugar, it's not horribly high or immediately dangerous. As your dad recovers from his operation, it could well improve as he gets healthier.
If you're concerned about your dad, then tell him so. Even if he says it's ok, explain that it's still worrying you and then your dad can put your mind at rest
