Winter Keepy Uppies Type 2.

The success is that you are moving and thinking about it.
I've had a heavy cold the passed couple of days so not very active . I think the norovirus dented my resistance a bit .

Raking leaves. Cleaning oven, and crawling into back of cupboards to make spiders homeless had been keeping me busy today.

Get well soon @Jamrox

Hi donnellyysdogs

Mrs DeeJay wants a rotary clothes line put up, so I tried excavating the hole in the concrete where the old one went but it was blocked by the old metal spike, so I got my chisel, lump hammer and eventually the sledgehammer and did a little demolition in a different bit of concrete. I occasionally remembered to breathe, which is an improvement.
As a reward Mrs DeeJay has bought me a hi-viz cycle jacket and cycle clips, so I will report back on that activity.

Get your helmet on too if you are taking the cycle out, @DeejayR .

Today I made it to the swimming pool for the first time in weeks. The aquafit session had been cancelled, so nobody but me turned up. I had the pool to myself for an hour. Didn't miss the other people at all. I spent half an hour on aqua exercises, and half an hour gliding, imagining I was graceful, up and down the pool.

Welcome . We have all been where you are . Remember little steps lead to long journeys

I've been mainly stuck behind a desk but managing about 6000 steps . Little and often.
It's freezing here but made myself walk to our local Tesco instead of going in the car .I keep forgetting to take my phone , at least when I get my Christmas fit bit I'll not forget it .

Sorry, am slipsliding away here. Snow in Devon in November, and not just on the moors! However I walked to Tesco for the shopping and got the leaves off the lawn (again). I'm waiting to borrow a jack-hammer to get through the concrete in the back yard. Yoga was hard work this week.

Tuesday was aquafit, as was Wednesday. An hour each time.
Thursday was oldies gym for an hour, needed a long rest after.
Friday and today I have braved the weather and got out and about in the fresh air for a few short walks.

A Parkrun for me today, with a Personal Best time - sooo cold I was in a hurry to get it over with :P

Now things are disappearing underwater :(
The clothesline pole is concreted in but I hurt a back muscle carrying the jack-hammer awkwardly.
Meanwhile I've been going up and down two flights of stairs, which I'm not used to! :***:
When Storm Angus has moved on there will be more leaves to rake. I love leaves, they're light and pretty.

Angus not made an appearance here, so I have been walking a lot more than usual. Also been taking leaves.

Sorry I haven't posted but I have been active , 2 or 3 miles every day .
Weather is cold but lovely and sunny during the day so that makes it easier .

Mind you don't get caught.
Hehehe. I did correct that but it was lost in cyberspace. Bright cold sunny days have enabled woodland walks. The crispy frozen leaves had to stay on the ground today.WP_20161120_009.jpg WP_20161120_009.jpg WP_20161123_001.jpg

You must be surrounded by oak?
Now the weather is drier, there's much gardening to be done. Very aerobic, my yoga teacher says.

Yes, just the oak with leaves still on, now. The ash, beech, and poplar have been almost naked for a few weeks. Almost all leaves down, but they have been frozen to the ground last few days.

Have walked in the afternoon sunshine last three days. Thought I would have to miss it today as it was very foggy until lunchtime. Then another of those fine blue sky afternoons.

It's been lovely during the day @Pipp , makes a change.
