Winter Keepy Uppies Type 2.

Back at work today
Busy day.
20minutes on numb bum and 10 on crosstrainer .

@Jamrox . I'd forgotten about the flu jab and as I swam the top of my arm was aching then I twigged what it was. I'd never been a gym member or regular swimmer until I retired. My son bought me a spa day for me birthday and I realised how much I enjoyed the swim so I hunted round and found a pool nearby . It's great. :)

Aquafit for an hour.
Then an afternoon of busy appointments.
Just enough time for a quick cuppa on the peace patio before the sun went in. Second cuppa of afternoon inside with feet up. Energised enough to comtemplate filling some boxes with items for the charity shop.

Bit of pj dancing after work and before tea .
Watching Australian Masterchef . I love Australian Masterchef .
Now do go and peel some carrots and sprouts . I love veg.

How good it is to get into PJs after a busy day. Or even just to lounge about in them all day. (Only occasionally, though, and never out of the house).

Ah sprouts, Jamrox. Much maligned vegetable. Love them, especially stir fried with bacon and shallots, seasoned with nutmeg.

My new mower dragged me through long grass, thistles, nettles and over molehills at the allotment. It has an insatiable desire to cut things to within an inch of their lives. It doesn't provide very good exercise, though. The strimmer on a harness is much more aerobic, a rhythmic swinging from the hip, like scything.
So not much benefit today for me or the moles.

Another hour long aquafit session. Rain stopped play for my intended saunter through parkland, so substituted that with a supermarket stagger. Wonderful place for a nice level walk with trolley to use for balance. So What if I only had yogurt and celery in the trolley after a 40 min stroll through the aisles. It was exercise / activity.

Today activity has been sorting and redistributing an accumulation of 'stuff'. Lots of books and other items that once seemed so important can now be enjoyed by others. I am expecting this activity to be a new hobby for the winter months, as one can't expect to disperse 40 odd years of possessions in just a few hours. Much stair climbing and carrying stuff out. So after nice soak in hot bath I am in PJs stretching, yawning and thinking of doing some chair based exercises and flexing of ankles as I put my feet up for the night.

I love my pjs , they are my home uniform haha.
Sitting , dancing , numb bum times etc can't beat them

I feel your pain.
This weekend we are removing tiles etc in prep for new kitchen next month .

Bought some yesterday, first time for years since deciding to hate them for ever. I'm trusting you on this. Do you slice them or leave them whole?

We are moving 247 yards* from a flat to a house with a garden before Christmas, so I shall be claiming exercise points for carrying books, plates etc.
*Google Earth straight line measurement

Yay, a garden and an allotment will keep you busy.

An hour on the resistance exercise programme at oldies gym. I try to resist, but can't. :D

Currently enjoying bowl of home made spicy veg soup and a read of the paper before I don protective gear to tackle the clutter that emerged from the loft. The stuff our son put in there as a teenager. Dread to think what I might find, but as he knows and hasn't rushed to retrieve any damning evidence I hope it won't be bad.

Last night was helping to take up floor tiles .

Today was helping to take off kitchen wall units , packing the car with the rubbish , removing old wall tiles and clearing up over and over as the dust settles.

Be worth it eventually

@Jamrox Ooh I think I'm headed for more of that when we move.
Today: 30-min cycle ride. The rain held off, probably out of pity. Leg power surprisingly good. Felt a bit wobbly when I got off as usual, but had a 10-minute nap and a mug cake. Restored!

Ok, @Jamrox so how did you keep your shirt so clean and white admidst all that dust and debris?
Admit it, you got changed to pose for photo, now you are famous.;) Important to keep up appearances.
I would post photos of the work I have been up to over the weekend, but would be so ashamed for anyone to see the sort of mess the house has got into. Busy weekend of sifting through boxes and boxes of 'stuff'. It isn't junk, just stuff we no longer have a use for. We now have one quarter of one room emptied. Just 4 and three quarter rooms to complete. Charity shops are now getting plenty of stock from us. It is amazing how therapeutic it all is. Just keep stopping to view old photos and read old notebooks and suchlike. I have been active too, cleaned a very big bay window, and moved furniture to spring clean a room. Yes I know it is autumn, but I am a bit ahead of myself here.

I have to go out tomorrow. In danger of losing myself completely if I don't.

I did go out. To the charity shop donation centre. They love us. Books and music, I really don't know where they all fitted in the house. Well, I did really, it was mainly the loft. Lots of lego sets. All pieces correct, yes, I had to assemble them to make sure. So activity today has been packing boxes, taking them downstairs and out. I went to oldies gym to escape for an hour.
