Hello everybody. I can only claim an hours weeding. Everyone seems to be working very hard and are far more active than me. I must do better this week. :)
It's all relative and it's not a competition. We're all going along together. Anyway I find weeding involves muscles I didn't know I had.

I felt like staying in bed when I realised how autumnal the weather had turned this morning. Then I remembered I would have to report being lazy, here. So 40 minutes dusting and wiping paintwork, then a leisurely 30 minutes in the swimming pool, ( that was difficult after missing a few weeks) followed by an hour circuit training at the 'oldies gym'. The sun was shining again mid afternoon, so had a little potter around the garden and watched the birds feeding before I had a 10 minute a power nap.

I'm finding my morning exercises a bit more tricky... it's cold and dark at 06:05 but some subdued lighting and Radio 3 for calm seems to help.
Lunchtime walks are still on, while it is dry... not too sure about when it rain...
Off to see Physio for frozen left shoulder later today..... :arghh:

Hello everybody:):)

Monday was being exercised by my 2 year old grandson day. I always feel like a nap after he leaves lol

Tuesday and today involved a lot of cleaning.

Today I did 35 minutes swimming. :)

No 'exercise' for a few days.
'Activity' has been short walks and lots of foot tapping and leg stretching.

@Jamrox . Beautiful photos of Inverness. :) My other half wants us to take motor home up to Scotland and if it's as beautiful as that then I'm game.

Hello everybody. I went swimming today I did the equivalent of 35 standard pool lengths in 40 minutes. It felt great today. I was swimming faster and I wasn't having o force myself. I'm going to try to swim at least every other day so that I can keep this up.

Way to go @mo53 !
Today I am still pottering around garden and doing chair exercises. Amazing how much can be done from the comfort of one's chair.

Mrs DeeJay has a throat bug so we wrapped up warm and spent half an hour walking up to the top of a cliff. Made me puff but the view was spectacular. It only took 10 minutes to come down again!

Yesterday she was better and wanted to kick up some crunchy leaves so we walked for 3 hours up and back to the woods. We were both really weary when we got back, unusual for me. I prescribed for her some ibuprofen and a hot bath, accompanied by a glass of Southern Comfort, also in hot water.
Today she has lost her voice and I don't know what emoji to use :(

Hello everyone. :)
This morning I was playing in the garden with my grandson. He had me jogging a circuit with him. Lol.:)
I went swimming today. 30 stanard pool lengths in 35 minutes. It felt great apart from the muscle in my arm where I had my flu jab.

My cure for sore throat and lost voice is to gargle with Southern Comfort, brandy, rum or whisky also work. You don't spit it out though.

Fresh air exercise if possible, then Mr Deejay should do all the chores until Mrs Deejay feels better.

My activity today has been 45 mins swimming pool, an hour in oldies's gym, (where I looked out of the window a lot and wondered why I was indoors on such a beautiful afternoon). Then a short walk through the park admiring the changing colours and being thankful for the benches every few steps to rest on. Finished the afternoon with a quiet cuppa in our peace patio, watching the birds and cussing at a pesky grey squirrel.

Come on, @DeejayR you know it will be your turn to have the lurgy next, and in blokes it lasts twice as long and they are twice as poorly. So Mrs Deejay will be waiting on you. ;)

Refreshed and tranquil in the extreme. Endorphins are wonderful!

Would you have done the 30minutes before we started this ?

It would take me a year to do 30 lengths lol
I do try but I'm not a swimmer .

So the flu jag is sore again ?
