Winter Keepy Uppies Type 2.

Well done @Nicksu. Amazing what a difference moving about a bit more can do.

Couldn't agree more , it's amazing how much better you feel too.
I'm just out of bed , getting over the virus . Shattered today but on the mend thankfully.
Hopefully manage a walk tomorrow

Made it to the oldies gym. Did an hour. Feel good.
My HbA1c results this morning showing improvement too. Gotta keep moving, so aquafit again tomorrow.

Sorry folks vilch today again , I'm exhausted, just had my shower and having to lie down again . Haven't had D&V for a couple of days but this tiredness is getting boring now

Housework, a lot of it, and pottering in the garden. All day.
Had to give the swimming pool a miss, but have been doing some arm excercises with hand weights of 2kg. They feel heavy.

I've signed up for a weekly yoga course. Hope I can remember my Cat from my Sphinx.

Not loads but still feeling pretty ****

Blimey. What happened to everyone?
Just jamrox and me left? And we are both crocked!

I know lol
I'm ok now and managing to do on average 7000 steps a day with my Pacer app on my phone.

Hope everyone's ok

Love this Pacer app

My husband loves his yoga DeejayR.
First session today. It's going to be brilliant. I listed breathing, balance, mobility and posture as my areas for improvement and we'll be covering them all. Plenty of work to do indoors for the winter. Lying stock still for 20 mins on my face to re-align the vertebrae! Just up my street.
Plus I've signed up for an Indian cookery starter lesson. First exercise: tying apron :)

I might look at yoga as a challenge. So many different versions, though. Confusing.
I did do Tai Chi many years ago, and maybe should try that again.
Currently not able to go to the swimming pool, or walk much, but have been to oldies gym today for some chair based exercise.

I have no idea what kind of yoga my course embraces. At entry level I doubt if it matters. The key is to find a good teacher (and they aren't all good). For many people life is a struggle and any discipline/exercise/whatever you call it that replaces that struggle with a few hours of non-competitive calm must be ok. Tai Chi sounds good.
Yesterday's yoga tip for gardeners: when raking leaves, rake on both sides of your body to equalise the effort. Same for anything else you can manage but watch out when for example chopping carrots cack-handed :nurse:

Haha, @DeejayR. Have you been putting the yoga tips to good use down at the allotment?
Know what you mean about finding a good teacher. I am still looking.

Haven't done much today. Unless we can count meditation? I am suitably relaxed, but will make an effort to get out and walk a bit tomorrow.
