Perhaps you walked beyond its range ;)
Allotment today. Covered one of the compost bays with fabric for the winter and there'd
better be lots of lovely compost in the spring! Hoe'd and weeded but forgot to hoe on both sides for balance. Went to Tesco in the car :sorry:

I have a gammy leg, but it is recovering.
Have rediscovered resistance bands, so have used them for arm exercises, and leg lifts. Don't want to seize up, so looking forward to being able to get back to swimming pool after a few more days. Will try walking a bit tomorrow. Probably in a nice warm, level floored shopping centre. Even though I hate shopping.

I am exercising at least 4 times a week now. I care for my mother full time and she is exercising with me. We go at her pace for at least 10 minutes of walking. Sometimes we go for as long as 20 minutes but not usually. We have joined a wellness center with a track and pool. We plan to swim in the warm water pool at least once a week but have not started in the pool yet. This may not seem like much but it lowers my BG reading by 50 mg/dl each time we walk. We go after lunch.

I used to use Pacer and found it quite buggy, missing out parts of my walks for no obvious reason.

I decided to get serious about it and got a fibit!

Full circuit session this evening after work. Most of the participants are 20-35, but I stay there with them, albeit I'm wasted but happy at the end:)

Last week I estimated I moved 3000 shovels full of soil, lifted 2 tons of wood and 2 tons of stone as well as 3 full days of hard landscaping and tree planting....sore, but nowhere near what I expected and feeling tip, top, again this morning ready for work:)

True to my word I walked a lot today. Several hours around shopping centre. Exceeded step target by more than a thousand.

Ah that makes sense , it's decided not to record minutes or calories at the moment . I have asked for a fit bit for Christmas

Careful they are a bit addictive. Everyone in my office thinks I'm nuts since i always take the stairs and get up and do 250 steps an hour.

Fitbit also talks to myfitnesspal.

Today and yes I am addicted lol.

An hour in the oldies gym. Must have done something right, as I was a bit hot and redfaced at the end. Avoided having a walk after as the wind and hail were a bit much.

I have been keeping up my walks on the local trails and parks. But over the last week or so have been unable to do it every day MG has been making life difficult at moment. Though I have managed my target of over 6 k steps a couple of times I know that's not a lot of steps for many but for me it's not a bad target.

Bit of digging and clearing on the allotment yesterday, yoga today. We are a friendly group, 5 and the teacher. Excellent exercises (some quite difficult) plus relaxation in between.
Also walking to the shops every day.
I find I can't dig with a spade on either side, only on my left. A shovel I can just about manage left & right. There's so much we do on one side only our muscles must be incredibly lop-sided!

Would be a lot of steps for me!
I am a bit narked with the activity tracker warch, as I just noticed yesterday that it doesn't record steps when I carry my bag over my arm.

A short 20 minute walk today, after the frost cleared and the sun was shining.
Followed by a lot of housework. Such a futile activity that never ends.
