I am so glad I recorded this. Not Hubby's kind of thing.
Thank goodness for something decent to watch, and look forward to. Besides Broadchurch.
A really good series, from the book by Hilary Mantal , she has written two , second one called bring up the bodies ....she is now writting a third ...What is it kat ??
Yes @noblehead ...it was time to move on I agree, we will still watch it though ...enjoying silent witnessWe watched the last episode of Broadchurch last night, tbh we are not enjoying it and its not as good as the first series, they should have left that storyline behind and moved on, what do you think?

They are both so good ....I saw them being interviewed on some chat show, they work well together .....yes you are right brilliant , I love these programmes ....worth watching silent witness at some point , it is good ....Never watched Silent Witness but have heard good things about the series. We will stick with Broadchurch for now and see if it gets any better, mind David Tennant and Olivia Coleman are as brilliant as ever taking the leading roles.
Hi @izzzi I got confused as well , first I thought Oliver was Thomas , was he known by both names I wonder ....both names were used in the first episode that's how I became confused ....I enjoyed it, Trust me to get confused with Thomas Cromwell and Oliver Cromwell.( the penny soon dropped)

I completely agree @noblehead , it's a big disappointment and I have given up on it.We watched the last episode of Broadchurch last night, tbh we are not enjoying it and its not as good as the first series, they should have left that storyline behind and moved on, what do you think?
I like Silent Witness as well, but not too sure that forensic pathologist would be running around with the police helping solve the crime, but then if they didn't do that there wouldn't be a storyYes @noblehead ...it was time to move on I agree, we will still watch it though ...enjoying silent witness
You do need to concentrate quite hard, especially with the time line changing back and forth.I had fancied reading Wolf Hall before but never got round to it so tried to watch the programme last night but turned it off after 10 minutes as I couldn't get in to it. Maybe give it another try later in the week.

The first series was amazing, but by trying to continue that storyline and incorporate a new one they have just made it too confusing. Shame
she is very clever !!!I like Silent Witness as well, but not too sure that forensic pathologist would be running around with the police helping solve the crime, but then if they didn't do that there wouldn't be a story
yes that was a really good and very touching episodeIts still worth watching mind, just not as good as the first series.
Call the Midwife was brilliant as ever, the young boy who was looking after his sisters and baby was a double for the actor who played Billy Casper in the film Kes
