Wondering about coldness

Hello. I was wondering if you could tell me your opinion on my symptoms.

About 5 months ago I suffered from extreme coldness throughout my body for a single night. It was really bad and I thought I might die. That same day I eat a burger from a burger joint which I thought tasted warm, not hot like normal. Anyway, I have been suffering from coldness in the hands and feet, sometimes in the neck and also diarrhoeal and blood in the stool for the past 5 months. Sometimes also pins and needles.

Had a Sigmoidoscopy and the samples came back as positive for Ulcerative Colitis. I haven't had the coldness for a month or so now but have still been having blood in stool and diarrhoeal.

Today I had some homemade mince beef burgers and now am suffering from mild coldness in the feet plus pins and needles. Any ideas? I'm posting here because it may be blood related and you guys are the experts :D
 
So, sorry for being thick...have you officially been diagnosed with ulcerative colititus and given advice on foods to eat and not to eat?
 
Hi, ohhh I am the same go freezing cold in both feet n legs so cold it can get painful, have got diverticulitis n have had it for 4 years prior an attack my whole body temperature plummets n so get the shivers!!! then next couple days am in trouble with erratic BS readings n bowel spasms n live on the loo too... I take preglabalin for my neuropathy in my feet. Any help? Its possible it can be related to bowel disorders n conditions given the symptoms, both my mum n daughter are exactly the same. Only me is diabetic though! Anna.x

The samples came back as positive for ulcerative colititus. I was told to just eat normally.

Anna@ Diverticulitis may be what I suffer from. Its hard to accurately pin down just what disease you have so maybe I have something else? I don't see anything about blood in the stool and diarrhoeal but the shivers sounds positive.
 
Hiya, yep I can bleed also n get blocked up then extreme runs with the attacks, have been tested for coeliac disease 2 weeks ago as am struggling with pain in guts n spasmodic attacks coinciding with eating n then having to "dash" to the loo with the attacks. Go hot n cold all time when get them... I can only eat certain types of food as some "trigger" it all off. The beige foods n onions are a big NO NO. Am full of pockets n get inflammation in these causing the pain n blockages. Ring any bells with you? Anna.x
 
Coldness has stopped for now thankfully.

For months on end I used to suffer from cold hands and feet and as well as the above. Currently (trying) to follow the SCD diet. Hope things work out with you.
 
My friend had UC and also listed the same problems as you have listed, BUT he was also on quite an array of medication and he knew that he could only have certain foods without being ill and suffering more.
