I'm currently in my year 3 studying medicine. After finding out about my condition of type 2 diabetes, I lost my motivation to study. Do u think I could make it? I seriously need motivation especially from those who had to face similar challenges.

I see absolutely no reason why you can’t both manage your diabetes and complete your degree. In fact it could be seen as wonderful motivation. Think how much of an insight you’ll have for your patients with chronic conditions and how much help you’ll be able to be supporting them achieve remission through diet (low carb and IF) and lifestyle rather than just writing a prescription.I'm currently in my year 3 studying medicine. Thank u so much!My dad has type 2 diabetes for 40 years. He has managed it pretty well by intermittent fasting (it's the best way to manage your condition).
Thank u so much for speaking directly to my soul. Ur words mean a lot to meI see absolutely no reason why you can’t both manage your diabetes and complete your degree. Why do you think it’s incompatible? Most of us struggled for a while getting used to the diagnosis and it is a shock but looking ahead not back , dusting ourselves off and being proactive is the best way forward. Quite a few of us are in a better health position than we were for years before we knew And are actually grateful for the wake up call.
Thank you so much!Certainly if it is type 2, yes you can. You will probably need to keep a very close eye on your foods and sugars. Don't give up. Best of Luck.
I would not agree that IF is the best way. You'd still need to control carbs too for long term success. My dad has type 2 diabetes for 40 years. He has managed it pretty well by intermittent fasting (it's the best way to manage your condition).
