Yes, that reminded me, another regular present from one of the in-laws is chocolates, lots of them, and cookies. Every birthday and Christmas, even though she knows I have had diabetes since 2005.I got a hamper just full of carbs and alcohol and I've not drunk that poison for years. Gave most of it away.

Yes, someone gave me a bag of Thorntons diabetic chocs. I only ate one a day but the effects were unfortunate to put it politely (can't find an emoticon for sitting on looA nurse friend gave me a box of diabetic chocs. The result was featured on "Watchdog" a year later.
