Ympso pump upgrade

Hi everyone, i hope you are all okay and maybe someone who give me a bit of support/experience/positivity regarding my pump upgrade.

I have been using T-slim pump basal IQ for a while and now i am getting the upgrade to ypso pump next week. I am really nervous because i have never had a closed loop pump, all the pumps i had in the past were never automatic. They will only switch off if i go hypo but they will never correct me if i go high or make any changes. Apparently ypsopump will go those changes and i feel a bit nervous to leave a pump doing all the work that i have been doing myself for the past 23 years being Diabetic.

I have spoken with two ladies who gave me a really good feedback regarding this pump but some how i am still super anxious because i have also a fear of going hypo and even tho they have all told me that this pump aims to not go hypo and mostly keep you on range i am still scared.

Does anyone uses this pump and could give me more info/experience/ moral support please? Hehe thanks a lot, i really appreciate it.

Not sure if this helps, I'm on T-Slim with Control IQ and I have to say its the best thing ever. I've been pumping for many years. I have a few years left on my pump but having looked at what's available today I would not hesitate to move to the looping version of the Ypso pump.

i went through exactly the same change (from T-slim basal IQ to ypsopump with mylife CamAPS FX) two years ago and my control has never been better.

The day to day interaction with my diabetes has also changed. With the T-slim I had it set up so I could see my current CGM reading on my watch and would be checking it frequently during the day. I couldn't do that with the new set up and thought I would miss it, but in fact I rarely check the CGM readings now. CamAPS will sound an alarm if I go too high or low, so I just leave it to do its thing while I get on with whatever I'm doing. It took a bit of time for me to trust it, but now I wouldn't go back.

Hope the switch goes well.
