Yoghurts

Hello, which yoghurts are you using apart from Greek yoghurt please. All I can find is muller light and other sugary low fat ones.
Thanks on advance for your suggestions.

Brown Cow brand but I am in the USA. I get the vanilla flavor. It is full fat and comes with cream on top. I also use the generic plain from Walmart. I add fresh fruit and a few oats to it. I do not know where you are from so I do not know if that will help. I also use Chobani Greek with fruit already added. I like the blood orange, and lemon flavors because they are not too sweet.

I go for Lidl's full fat Greek yogurt. It is a Greek Style yog, which is relatively low in carbs and not too bad on the protein front. I add a bunch of nuts to it and top it off with a passion fruit for my breakfast.

I brought some last night to go with berries and I was shocked when I saw that onken full fat natural yoghurt was about 5.6g carbs per 100g and morrisons own brand was 9.9g carbs per 100g this doesn't really answer your question but it turns out you sometimes have to pay more which is quite annoying when there are so many things we can't eat anyway

I get Tamar Valley Greek style natural yogurt, this the full strength one at 5.2 grams carbs per 100 grams.

Edit: Added the word carbs for clarity.

I agree, it's only 3.2g carb per 100g. I buy it in the 1kg tub, it tastes good and creamy and it's not expensive plus if you are going to be eating/cooking with it regularly it lasts well in the fridge,

I buy Marks and Spencers unsweetened Greek Style yogurt and have half a small carton with raspberries and flaked almonds. Lovely!

Don't also forget plain soy/soya "yogurt" (Sojade, Provamel) or plain coconut yogurt, (Coyo). These I have bought.

There's also goat's yogurt.

Thank you. I'm in the U.K we don't seem to have as much choices as those in US and Aussie. Yes I tend to steer clear of low fat things now as
they generally replace it with all sorts.
Nice suggestions and ideas. I'm going to try them yum yum

Of all my suggestions the coconut milk yogurt come out on top. Incredibly smooth, although a small pot is expensive at £2 ..... I see almond milk yogurt is available to buy and there are also recipes for making it and indeed any nut milk yogurts!

PS There is a recipe online for oat milk yogurt!

Sometimes you can find local farm full fat yoghurt I get one called Lancashire farms which isn't too bad for carbs and I add fresh cream and berries or a quarter of a satsuma @mist could add some melted dark chocolate

I have 250 grams Alpro simply plain with 50 grams frozen raspberries mixed with 1 teaspoon of canderel
that comes to 130 calories and 7.2 grams of carbs
2.1 carbs per 100grams for the Alpro
and it tastes really nice

I alternate between various Greek Style Yogurts (brand depending on where I've ended up shopping) and the Alpro plain one.

I have found Morrisons own brand is lower in sugar than most, It's the one with pale blue print on the lid.
