You Know You Are Diabetic When........

When your leaking blood after testing :(
So true this with me - walk round sucking my thumb/finger afterwards
Or I am holding tissues with blood stain on them .

Folk definetely know am with diabetes - when inject my insulin in tummy area .
Got past being embarrassed doing it all now .

It strange how sometimes they bleed more than other times yet the lancing pen setting is the same, like you I always carry a tissue with me for such times as there's nothing worse than handing paperwork over covered in blood.

Yep - mine is "always" set on number 2 lancet speed .
Sometimes there is a little blood bit other times a lot of dripping blood :(
Have wondered the why with this ? - many times over .
Use different fingers each test - same lancet speed and technique .
 
When you have a bloodstain in your trouser leg and emergency biscuit crumbs in the bottom of your bag.

And test strips fall every where when you get something out of your bag or is that just me?

The test strips get everywhere, I bet they'll even find them on the moon :D

anna i wonder if you could define hijacking a thread for me please? as i recieved an official warning today for doing it, im confused as ever since ive seen nothing but posts being hijacked, under the definition i was given this has been hijacked by you, it wouldnt bother me had i not been threatened for doing it today :(
