Breakfast, usually between 8.00 and 9.00: One or more items off the following list: eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, cheese, smoked salmon, sardines, tomatoes, mushrooms.
Lunch (more of a snack than a meal) often around 2.00 or 3.00: cheese, nuts, salad leaves, cherry tomatoes, olives, cold meats, left overs from last night's dinner, home made soup.
Dinner, between 7.00 and 8.00: meat, fish, vegetables, red wine.
Note: no snacks, just black tea, coffee, water.
Dishes are cooked in/with butter, cream, olive oil, lard. Herbs, spices, salt are all added as needed for flavour.
Within the above, there is loads of variety: cooking methods, cuisines from around the world, origins and variety of original products.
