Your TOP ten songs ... yep, it's hard

Hmmm @nosher8355 - I particularly like no's 3, 15, 30 and 32
They are classics! A lot of my selection is easy listening soul. I'm a softie for this type of song. But they are all real good productions and the vocals are second to none. None of this synthesiser rubbish!

Can't say for the rest ou us Brits but there is a good following.
Maybe not as much as the Stylistics, emeralds, Spinners, and the Motown boy bands. There was some great sounds coming from the far North of the USA!
 
Golden era of music. But that's just my opinion
I have to agree.
Real voices, real singing and harmonies, proper orchestrated rythym and constructive productions with a good bass line and back eat.
All the top groups got their ideas from early Northern soul.
