    Hello guys and gals

Thought I'd kick off another one. This challenge took me ages as I could have listed hundreds ... easily.

But these are mine after careful thought and Ronstadt gets my number 1. Looking back at it, I realise much and all as I like rock, I must be a real soft touch to go for so many quiet love songs :)

    Heartbeats Accelerating – Linda Ronstadt

Song for a Winter’s night – Gordon Lightfoot

    Time Passages – Al Stewart

    Get here – Oleta Adams

Kill the messenger - Shawn Colvin

Coming up close – ‘Til Tuesday

I drove all night – Cyndi Lauper

    Hazard – Richard Marx

    Human Touch – Bruce Springsteen
    Fields of Gold – Sting

    Yours? Mike :)

WOW this was really difficult! I could have written a hundred as well.

I'll start by saying that my top ten songs of all time are mostly Elton John songs. So, I will eliminate him and go from there:

Like the others, in no particular order:

    1. U2 - Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
    2. Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road
    3. Fleetwood Mac - Sara
    4. The Eagles - Hotel California
    5. The Beatles - Hey Jude
    6. Paul McCartney & Wings - Silly Love Songs
    7. Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure
    8. Rolling Stones - Tumblin' Dice
    9. Journey - Don't Stop Believing
    10. Tom Petty - American Girl
    (I'm cheating..... :D)
    11. Train - Drops of Jupiter
    12. Edwin McCain - I'll Be
    13. Genesis - No Reply at All

Is now the time to say I saw the killers when they were supporting one of my favourite bands in the upstairs of a pub in LIncoln?

Yeah they were good. For ages afterwards a few of my mates would go and see them and get guest list , even when they got bigger. They seem like nice guys.
