I never noticed that before. Maybe zero carb isn't for you if you're that easily dissuaded.I don't listen to people who promote coffee enemas, the woman behind zerocarbzen does. Enjoy reading her website.
Good luck.

Yes, for sure you should ignore people who have been doing zero carb for years. What could we possibly know about it?I am doing zerocarb now, and do not need to read what an ex-vegan who promotes coffee enemas says about anything. Each to his own.
Touchy aren't you. Who said you knew little about it? You should leave that chip on your shoulder. I have studied the ketogenic and zero carb diet for years, read many books. Now I am on 100% zerocarb because of you, I wonder of you are strong enough too to go 0.0 g carb? I wonder.Yes, for sure you should ignore people who have been doing zero carb for years. Except you're not on a zero carb diet. I already explained that a zero carb diet is not literally zero carbs. It's a diet that includes a negligible amount plant based food in the form of spices, tea/coffee, and the small amount of sugar in bacon. Your diet is not a zero carb diet since you are including EVOO. A zero carb diet is not a contest or a temporary weight loss diet or a ketogenic diet. It's a way of eating for long term health. The key is eliminating fruits, vegetables, grains, plant oils, etc. I hope you can understand this. If you want to continue what you're doing, perhaps call it a "no carb" diet to avoid confusion.Touchy aren't you. Who said you knew little about it? You should leave that chip on your shoulder. Perhaps people should just read the entire web page that you got this from:What is a Zero Carb diet?
Traditionally, those who practice a Zero Carb diet consider almost anything from the animal kingdom to be fair game, as long as it does not contain a appreciable amount of carbohydrates. Many long time practitioners express a preference for beef because they find it to be the most satisfying of all the meats. But, Zero Carb-ers may also eat pork, bacon, sausage, lamb, poultry, fish, eggs, hard cheese. They eschew milk and yogurt because these dairy products contain significant quantities of carbohydrates. If the meat they are eating is too lean, they will add extra butter, ghee, tallow or lard. Some may also use coconut or olive oil, but these two oils come from plants and may be problematic for some people due to their salicylate content. Similarly, some Zero Carb-ers use herbs and spices to season their meat, but if you do this you need to be observant of your body’s response and make sure they don’t cause you to be abnormally hungry. Because spices are derived from plants, they too contain salicylates and can have a negative affect on some people.
So? It proves you are incorrect regarding olive oil! You have an strange aggressive manner, olive oil is fine, try reading instead of fighting.Perhaps people should just read the entire web page that you got this from:

I wouldn't eat them while zero carbing..Hm. Okay I've digested the thread somewhat.
Quite interested in zero carbing. Although I expect to get a lot of opposition from my family so will have to tread carefully and do it slowly. I have no problem with eating rare steak. But my question is are mushrooms considered plant based for zero carb purposes? X
Steak and water only? Oh that's painful ;-). XI wouldn't eat them while zero carbing..
Steak, fish, chicken, healthy fats, coffee, tea, water.Steak and water only? Oh that's painful ;-). X

Eggs, bacon, cream and cheese are all part of a zero carb diet as they come from animals.Eggs.bacon, cream and cheese have carbs. Better is coffee with grassfed unsalted butter blended with coconut oil/mct oil.
