That's right. Just hope he hasn't got himself confused and a young Spock shows up in the wrong universe...J.J.Abrahms is the director of both star trek and the star wars sequel!
Both of my sons have said how much they loved it, it was excellent and completely forgot its now made by Disney. They want to go and watch it again.I saw it at the 00.01 screening this morning. JJ Abrams has done a good job and I really enjoyed it. And Yah boo sucks to you @Mike D - Since JJ took over, Star Trek definitely hasn't split its infinitive...![]()
I think the online reviews are mostly fair. I gave it 9/10. It compares very favourably with the 4, 5 and 6 and if it were the first ever, I think it would be considered to be the greatest. It is typically JJ Abrams. I saw it in 3D and the action sequences were breathtaking. No spoilers, @tim2000s , but could you give it a mark out of 10, say, in comparison to the other Star Wars films? Not that I'm obsessed and desperate to see it or anything![]()
I don't like the modern cinema complexes but we are lucky that we still have an old fashioned cinema in the villiage. It was unused for a long time and up for sale but as a listed building there are so many restrictions come with it. Local people set up a Save The Savoy support group and somebody invested money into it. Wow, what a job they've done bringing it back to it's original look, the new sign went up across the front, very art deco and inside they have removed some of the seats and put sofa's in there place. It's only tiny but comfy & cosy I can' t wait to try it.I like the very early Star Wars filmsbut I do not like the cinema, so will wait for it on TV
