Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

6.9 today. The metformin and exercise seem to have lowered FBG by about 3 points :) I wish I could say it was also diet, but have slipped quite often so I'm not sure about that.
 
5.3 at 6.45am

Fasting and very small meals until evening are keeping my levels right down and have got rid of those {expletive!!} morning liver dumps but I'm getting some in the evening instead now.... I'm not sure where the glucose for these is coming from though! :wideyed:

Another 7.7 for me. Not bad seeing that only on one shot of 44units of mixed insulin all day now. I was taking 120 units some months ago. :) :) :)

That's an absolutely stunning improvement ickihun. It always strikes me the less insulin being taken on board, in conjunction with a carb controlled diet, the less room there is for error. Your medics must be loving you at the moment, surely?
