Well, I have followed the LC diet for a week now. I started weighing myself last Friday at Boots where I was 14st 11lbs with a BMI of 25.8 (I am between 6ft 3 and 6ft 4). I have to say that I have been reducing weight since late January from 15st 3lbs without LC (although I was probably eating lower carbs as crisps had gone out of the window). My weight today was 14st 7lbs and BMI was dead on 25. A loss of 4lbs and lovely start to my Friday. My aim is to get to 13st 9Ibs as I am sure I read somewhere that the Newcastle professor recommends a 15% weight loss at least. I have to say that it is all rather painless so far. 7lbs to go to target although I suspect that might be harder. My second target is to get under 13st by around four pounds. Delighted to have achieved my first target of being 25 BMI.
