2015/16 Football Season

I bet you, the lower leagues will still have to pay the full price that they are being charged now. Surely if the football authorities or fans groups want better attendance, then those subsidies should filter down to the less off teams.
We took over 500 travelling fans to a small club that doesn't get over 500 normally.
They were so made up to get that sort of support and a huge pay day for them.
Something in the region of £25,000 they got last night. That's a huge sum for them!
That is a drop in the ocean to the bigger clubs!
Some clubs just can't compete because of the spending power of the bigger clubs!

I believe I've read that half the premier league clubs, could survive without people actually going the game, because of the television money!

Won't be able to post tomorrow so I'm going to do my predictions now,
A really big game for Rovers Saturday, can't see us getting anything from the long haul down sarf! I know we won't give up until the fat lady does her bit. But I think our early season form, has had its toll on us! Too much, too little too late.
Isn't there a song of that title?
Man utd will have a great week in both cup and league, Leicester will remain top, and. Arsenal will get into the cup semi-final.
Terriers and Carlisle will both win, while saints will draw.

I haven't got a clue have I?

Football League clubs 'failing to meet disabled guidelines'

Disgraceful how the disabled people are left out in the cold so to speak. At least i know i sharnt be taking Trish to a game at the town anytime soon not with the disgraceful guidelines for disabled people. Things would need to improve before i did that.

I know at Rovers, the club have spent a lot of money through sponsorship and the disabled supporters association have collaborated to improve our facilities greatly.
There is more to come in the summer, but as you say, the disabled supporter is awful across the league's.

Its all wrong cos a disabled persons money is just as good as anyone else's

The club has spent money on the family group through areas of the ground designated for families and through ticket prices.
Another initiative the club and supporters trust have collected thousands of pounds to supply the very poor and disadvantaged as well as the disabled to pay for their tickets and in quite cases, a few season tickets.
This has been successfully achieved and received.
The club has regular visits from schools on match days on freebies.
The really local primary schools, each child has been given a three game pass for a family of four to visit the game on match days.

The club are looking towards the future in attracting local support as ' the next generation of supporters'!

It is all not doom, there are those clubs that are trying to look after all supporters.
Rovers are a family club and will continue to be so.

It has not always been in recent history.

Ooops we are 0-1 down :(

Sounds like there has been a fire or rather smoke spotted at the back of the stand down in Exeter in their game with Carlisle. I hope everything is ok the stand has been evacuated. Keep us posted Mr Cumberland

Exeter's League Two game with Carlisle United was stopped after 10 minutes after smoke was seen was coming from the back of a stand at St James Park.

The Stagecoach Stand, which houses a mixture of home and away supporters as well as changing rooms and press facilities, was evacuated.

Well what can i say we lost 1-3 and the biggest shock of all time Rotherham came back from 0-3 down to draw 3-3 now thats left us with just a 6 point cushion. Comsidering we have Leeds next week followed by Sheff Weds. Boro and Hull to come its not looking good :(:arghh:

Well, we beat Stoke 2-1 with Mané getting a rather questionable red card.

We have leapfrogged Stoke and Liverpoo but they have 2 (I think) games in hand. They're our next opponents....
