Reusing needles

I found this picture on one of polish fb pages. It shows a needle used once, twice and six times. Shocking :eek:
I must confess that when I was injecting I used to reuse needles quite a lot!

Are you of Polish origin then?

Yep, been "jacking up" for nearly 40 years.. One knows blunt with excessive skin resistance.. ;)

Yes I am:) Some people commented under pic that they use one needle for a month! Ive never been so bad
 
When I was on mdi I remembered to change on birthdays and Christmas wether it needed it or not!

:cool: Thought so.. You posted a few links from Polish sites..

I have to admit. I use the same one out & about during the day. (Even though I carry spares.)
But I'm not adverse to "impalement" due to the massive stakes I used as a kid.. I find the modern 4mm pen needles quite whimpy by comparison...

What dings em most times is catching the needles on the pen cap..
 

Oh yes I remember them. They were like javelins and could also snap of where you were injecting. I use to love my glass and metal syringe though. It was like having a rifle.I would boil and take it apart and clean every piece separately!

Didn't have much of a childhood Ha !

Yep, they'd snap. Used my mum's tweezers to retrieve it.. Lol

The old blind knife grinder in my village came round every new moon...
He could also tell what gender your laying hens were too!
