I have to hammer the veg. Veg stir-fry and veg with dinner and celery instead of biscuits/cake. Melted strong chocolate with double cream or pork scratchings instead of crisps. What's the sugar craving solution ?
We go to the Duxford Airshows. Kids love it too.I live in a village just outside Cambridge. If you ever need recommendations for nice places to visit or eat when you're visiting, let me know. Cambridge is a lovely city. Except for the traffic. ..
Lying on bottom bunkbed with toddler to help him nod off for his afternoon nap. Otherwise he'a beast if he hasnt had his nap.Just what I needed a Good laugh to put me n a better mood, Thanks @eddie1968
Going shopping now = tomorrow! On Sunday R driving his Son back to Cambridge (for University) and won't be back in York till Monday Evening, so looks like Wednesday for bloods to get done?
He doesn't feel well today, I got up later after a "disturbed" night with a Headache, rushed around getting ready and for what???
Just had my lunch and got coffee and catch up on here. What's everyone else doing?![]()
I used to live just a couple of miles from Duxford Museum, and so got free passes for the family every year as the museum gave them to locals in compensation for the fact that the roads around were clogged with traffic on a airshow days! The passes were only valid On ordinary days, not airshow days thoughWe go to the Duxford Airshows. Kids love it too.![]()
Yes!I have just received a letter from my local Community Health Team inviting me to attend the X-pert Course in June. I will need to commit 2 hours a week over 6 weeks.
You know what my questions I gong to be (especially after Eldergarth's experience at this course), Will I be silently screaming as I am told to eat 200grams of carbs a day so my brain does not fall out or any other such nonsense?
My brother popped over for a bit, even though we both went to the farmers market we managed to miss each other! He gets up later than me (he loves astronomy so keeps unsociable hours lol) so he didn't go into town til after 11. I was quite pleased with what I got, I found some smoked chicken breast and there was a lovely French cheese stall where I spent far too much! I also got some asparagus so I'm having a cheese omelette with buttered asparagus tonightJust what I needed a Good laugh to put me in a better mood, Thanks @eddie1968

Went on that course last year, wonder. If you will be lucky Like we were and given an unhealthy big cake covered in thick icing sugar! On the last dayI have just received a letter from my local Community Health Team inviting me to attend the X-pert Course in June. I will need to commit 2 hours a week over 6 weeks.

don't forget the bowl of sugar for your tea & coffee@maureen5732 N0000000 really oh that is almost laughable if it were not so sad!
I went with a friend as he gave me a left, we couldn't believe it and there was a tin of biscuits for when you had coffee break half way through the Morning, was even told to have weetsbix or similar before bed to keep us going through the night, I saw my doctor and explained things I was told at the course, he was shocked and said he would be getting in touch with them as the info was not correct. Maybe it's improved now good luck@maureen5732 N0000000 really oh that is almost laughable if it were not so sad!
Ron has the same problem. The trouble is that as I lose more weight even my old trousers are too big now, and I have to buy new stuff. It's a good problem though!![]()
