What does Control solution mean?

Thanks

well, the control solution is usually a liquid that comes with the meter and it allows you to test if its working correctly.....

the control solution may be a set at 5.4mmol, and that possibly why it has come up with it on screen....

did it come with any liquid.....?

The control solution is used to test that the meter is working within range as it is a liquid with a known glucose content.
If not supplied with your meter it can be purchased the solution is specific to a manufacturer or model of meter.

Well you live and learn, never heard of a liquid that comes with the meter.

I think your meter was having a ditzy moment and somehow decided your blood drop must be test solution and has logged the result as such - possibly due to some sort of misleading contamination on your finger??
