Type 2 Life

While you've all been sunbathing, I live in a flat my daughter came to visit and help with few jobs, even trimmed my hair!!!!!! 6inches shorter! Still it will grow again. Enjoy the sun

@maureen5752 - Shorter hair will be much cooler for you in hot weather. I live in a flat too, (ground & 1st floor level only) We live in 1st floor so we'll be safe from the floods!! (York being built between 2 rivers) Richard got permission from the local council to create flower beds/borders, because the gardens are communal. But, when/if we sell up and move it has to all be put back to lawns.:)

Have you still got it long Maureen, or is it now short?
It's still long, instead of covering, & hanging over my boobs (sorry don't know how else to describe it) it rests on my boobs and the length is, it reaches where your bra fastener is! Sorry about that. It's still long anyway but much shorter! My daughters hair is very long and jet black, just gave her my pure bristle hair brush, I bought and never used, forgot about it so she can make use of it. Is your hair long or short? My hair is blonde, yours? At least your younger than me , I'll be 64 soon

I'm on the first floor, sandwiched between terrible people, kept awake for weekends with music noose everythink upstairs & down, my poor daughter suffered terribly with lack of sleep cos of them. Here it's a comunial garden but I never use it, safer in the flat with difficult neighbours

Mine is very short, light brown and hi-lighted with grey, just bald on the top of my head, got a goatee beard and moustache, blue/grey eyes and I'll be 61 in 2 weeks time but aged 40 in my brain. 5 ft 7ins tall and not lost any more weight since January (12st 10lbs). - So, who is next?:)

My hair is the same length as yours @maureen5752 , mine used to be dark brown but it's got lighter (ahem greyer!) with age. It's also curly and when I was a teenager I made the mistake of having it cut into a bob. Never again!

@maureen5752 - Oh that is terrible - you poor thing! Having good neighbours is most important, I just say good morning, nice day - don't get into conversation with them, whereas Richard talks to them in the hope of getting them interested in doing some gardening = That's not to be! It's a block of 4 = 2 flats on ground level and 2 flats on 1st level. (We do not have high rise flats in York) :)

Sounds like my hubby but without goaty, he has moustache, I'm still 17 in mind!!!! Feel young always have. I'm 64 July. I've gained weight in England since I returned was size 6 now a 10/12 I weigh 59.5 the scales said this morning! 5ft 3 so that's ok. I say your as young as you feel, my daughter always says don't worry what people think enjoy life! We' all get the grey bits so your not alone, it's good on a man but not us women!

We all get the 'lighter' bits ha ha. Men look good with grey but not us poor women, I had a bob when I was very young, never had short hair since, wasn't gonna ever cut it again but idiot me had it 'trimmed' today! Looks nice anyway. I don't like short hair never have I think long is feminine, I don't know how to post photos otherwise I would

I'm 5ft 6in and was a busty blonde now a busty brunette. Dyed of course. I shave my beard to please the old goat... hum hum (clearing throat) him in doors is a rxndy old goat. Ha ha
I was bauld but now have long hair after pulling it out with living with 3 males. Ha ha

I had a phone call from my son Adrian this afternoon to wish me luck for Tuesday was really nice to hear his voice. He's been in Dublin for several months now.And does not get many opportunities to call. Seems he's getting measured up tomorrow for his habit (he is hopefully starting his novitiate year for the Capuchin order of friars soon) So I have it seems all the friars praying for me I also have one of the best cardio vascular surgeons in the country doing the op so feeling pretty OK about it now.

Funny coincidence the surgeon and the friar who signed the card they sent me have the same surname. :)

Can't say much on here lets just say had doors super glued, bashed in, walked out in pouring rain in pygamas middle of night many times, daughter in tow, daughter suffered terrible stress, don't how she managed to pass exams and graduate, & do part time job, she's both beautiful and marvellous, she's the best thing that has ever happened in my life, so proud of her
