I'm really glad to hear that. Let's hope they kick in quickly to give you some relief. Here's a bit of light reading on the pain memory effect. Admittedly this is from a pharmaceutical company, but the only other ones I could find were intended for consultants, etc., and were virtually incomprehensible!!

Excellent news! Can we look forward to a resumption of caustic wit, wind-ups and general craic then? Had you not been so poorly, I would have been accusing you of being a boring old f*rt lately! ;)
Hugs xxx
I am a "fart" (and worse) when I'm on two sets of antibiotics lol. Yes I do "dull down" when I'm unwell. I've now got some pesky thrush since the antibiotics have killed almost all my good and bad bacteria. I got some Canesten HC cream from the doctor and it should clear up soon. Since I've became diabetic I've been very susceptible to infections and have had severe sepsis twice. :);)

@debrasue Jings! If this was the comprehensible article what were the others like? I had to really concentrate to understand this one :)

Oh well, another serving of footie at 8pm, France vs Albania. My evening is fully booked. May was such a beautiful month alas June is being slow to bloom. I was attacked by the 405th and 811th Midge Squadron last night, perfect conditions for the little ninja biters lol. :D:eek:

Hi Vicky the worse time of day for me is mid afternoon after being on my feet all day at work or home and it's when sat on sofa for a while and try and get up it feels like someone is squeezing the base of my spine and my legs don't want to move so doc thinks may be nerve damage plus the lack of feeling in my feet doesn't help much

@eldergarth there are post for neuropathy advice. On poster takes 3 supplements which when taken together helps him with his neuropathy in his feet/legs.
I will tag @Tim55 who can advise on what he takes to improve his symptoms. Worth trying. I think.
I believe he takes methyl b1 and methyl b12 and what I take (r-ala). I take r-ala for insulin assistance only as I believe I had scatica not neuropathy when I couldnt work one of my legs.
It works for some. Unfortunately not paid for by gp or specialists. But worth every penny for me. :)

Afternoon, dull, windy and dry. FBG 7.0 and pre-dinner injection 4.9 mmol/l. Watching Romania vs Switzerland with dinner and lazing on couch. :)

I'm still singing after my trip to Edinburgh and "Chicago" Met two lovely ladies who were sitting next to us and guess what? One of the ladies was diabetic.I asked her if she lchf-ed and a good going discussion followed during the interval. She had lost 4stones!!! following lchf and had "turned her life around" We then compared our sparkly tops and dangly earrings. Funny how having diabetes makes friends of strangers @debrasue you would have loved her

Wonderful, I have been thinking of you and Chicago since the PM you sent me. I love a good musical, I saw Sunset Boulevard recently and cried a little LOL - glad you had a great time!

You softy @penfold! Must admit I get completely caught up in the musicals too my lovely DIL cried at the end of Wicked when the "wicked" witch and scarecrow had to go into exile. As an ex amateur dancerI loved the dancing in Chicago

When I was 16 I was offered a job with the Bluebell girls dancing in the Black and White Minstrels touring show (older forum members might remember?) My father had a "fit" and threatened to lock me in my room ! :) lol! I cried for a week
