Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Morning All

6.0 for me today, again a bit higher than I had got used to.

Back on the ALA / methyl vitamin B1 and B12 as of this morning, we'll see if that helps as it did before....

Off down to Telford model show at Weston Park today for a bit of serious relaxation.
 
Keep an eye out for that delayed carb meter reading but a well deserved hair down day. Enjoy Kevin!

Continuing to drop through the day, now down to 5.1 again:)


Diagnosed 13/4/16: T2, no meds, HbA1c 53, FBG 12.6, Trigs 3.6, HDL .75, LDL 4.0, BP 169/95, BPM 85, 13st 8lbs, waist 34" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

16/6/16: FBG AV 4.6, Trigs 1.5, HDL 2.0, LDL 3.0, BP 112/68, BPM 6O, 11st 5lbs, waist 30", PWV 7.0. Lifelong migraines and hay fever gone.

Regime: 20g LCHF, run 1 mile daily, weekly fasting, occasionally longer fasts.

FBG 5.7 @07:30. Last night before bed it was 3.8, which I can ony attribute to my (new to me) low carb diet. A great deal of controlling our diabetes and other ailments is commitment and belief. For the first time since being diagnosed 5 years ago, I actually have belief that keeping on my current path will take me back to good health, despite the distance I still have to go!

6.5 ;) out for Fathers Day lunch yesterday, made good choices but you can't always check carb content in a restaurant can you. Day relaxing at home today so control is back :)
