Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

4.8 still on holiday so very surprised as eating almost normally just trying to be a bit sensible.
 
8.1 this morning, munched before bed:( (oh and remember Im 12 hours ahead of UK and generally enter this reading in my evening, if you get my drift)

Very pleased as seems to be continuing to drop slightly more towards the magic 5.5 that my doctor is looking for. So much more to do with what I eat and how much exercise I do than the tablets I take - so why do the doctors and nurses not tell you this....... makes me believe there is more money attached to taking the tablets..............
 
Mmm 6.7 today, had a day trip to France yesterday but thought I ate good food (we took most of it with us!), then 7.5 post 30 minute swim - now down to 5.8 so heading in the right direction :)
