What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hum, a disappointing 6.7, (5.8 yesterday) same meal last night, half chicken breast casserole, but this time with a very small portion of broccoli and a very small golden russet apple.

I also tested on my back up meter where there always a two point difference. Not this time, 6.2!

Update - Two hours post breakfast - 12.9 (new tub of strips ..... )!!! and 9.0 on the back up meter. mmm Always the same breakfast and usually within range.
WTH!????

Guys - it seems like this thread is losing its topic focus a bit. Could we please be mindful this thread is to focus on our fasting blood scores, and where appropriate supportive comments on that. General bloods of chit-chat can readily be accommodated on other threads.

We can all do this from time to time, but if we could just refocus, that would be really helpful. Thanks.

In order I comply with my own request I'll post my reading this morning, at an ungodly hour. A 3.7 for me.

Have a good day everyone.

Wish I knew my reading... I got a meter yesterday and I tested this morning and have had 4 different readings 7.6, 8.1,7.9 and 8. (I was diagnosed on 30 September with an HbA1c reading of 51.7%) Sorry to be a nuisance, but is it normal to have different reading like this?

Yes, perfectly normal - just take the average. :)
