Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Good Morning Everyone! After injecting last night the top of the orange part of my Autoshield BD needle had a bit of insulin on it and I went to bed worrying with this knowledge.

This morning, testing two fingers, 9.0 and 8.8 .....

Do I assume I have no breakfast and take pills on an empty stomach?

Edit - If you want to follow my plight I have a thread entitled - "Insulin Escape". It makes gripping reading! lol

Indeed she was very pleased with all my results / readings which she got off my Accu Check Performa, got a 8.0 two hours after breakfast when she tested me.

Mentioned the LCHF diet and this website, and what I was doing to keep somewhere on a carb reduced diet. She said I was doing great with my control and come back in a year, or phone her if any problems arise.

Time for a low carb mid strength beer to celebrate, and salute the forum. :D
